Microbrewery and British pub group, Brewhouse & Kitchen has clinches two deals for the freehold of a Japanese restaurant and cocktail bar site in west Sussex, and the leasehold of a London pub.
The company has exchanged contracts to acquire Wabi in Horsham, with the acquisition expected to complete in the next 14 days. This is a former prime site pub, in a high footfall location in a premium Sussex town.
Brewhouse & Kitchen has also snapped up the leasehold of The Beagle in East London's Hoxton. This iconic location, set in the railway arches next to the Hoxton Overground, is said to be a unique opportunity and a great fit with the firm's brewpubs at Highbury and Angel. It is expected to be open and brewing in mid-July.
These acquisitions takes the company's estate to 21 pubs, fortifying a solid period of growth and expansion for Britain’s largest Brewpub chain.
