Eden Farm acquires 11,000 sq ft warehouse

Eden Farm, the frozen food and ice cream wholesaler, has agreed a 10-year lease on Unit B at Air Cargo Centre on Arran Avenue, Paisley, Renfrewshire.

Unit B at Air Cargo Centre is a newly refurbished unit and includes new ground and first floor accommodation along with windows. It extends to approximately 10,976 sq ft ( 1,019 sq m).

Air Cargo Centre is located in a prime and convenient location immediately adjacent to Glasgow Airport and close to junction 28 of M8 which provides direct access to Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Ross Sinclair, director in the business space team at Savills in Glasgow, said: “We are pleased to secure Unit B at Air Cargo Centre for Eden Farm to support the significant growth they have experienced. Well located warehouses close to infrastructure hubs continue to attract strong demand.”

Jason Brooksbank, Group Transport Manager, Eden Farm, adds: “The new Glasgow site sits in a geographically strategic location for us, to continue to offer and improve our daily delivery service. It will also allow us to operate the warehouse throughout the night, which is a significant operational benefit.”

Air Cargo Centre was developed in the early 2000s and provides modern industrial accommodation across nine units, with an extensive canopy and generous yard area. The estate includes a standalone purpose built distribution facility and a building which has been sub-divided to provide two terraces comprising eight units.

This letting leaves one unit remaining within Air Cargo; Unit A which extends to approximately 17,500 sq ft. Unit A is fully refurbished with offices on two levels, two mechanical roller doors with canopied loading and ample yard and parking space.

Other occupiers at Air Cargo Centre include: PJH, Avec, Alpha LSG, Nippon Express and Saints.
