Incipio Group's Pergola Paddington to close later this month

Incipio Group has confirmed Pergola Paddington in London will close on 20 January following six and a half years of trading.

The London-based bar and restaurant group will continue to operate its eight other venues, which include the Libertine in the City, Palm House in Victoria and the recently launched 411 in Angel.

Pergola Paddington posted on Instagram: 'Since opening in July 2017, we've had the privilege of hosting some of London's most famous parties from Pergola Paraiso to Deck the Halls.

'As with Pergola on the Roof and Pergola Olympia, the Pergola name will live on at Pergola on the Wharf and an exciting space to be announced soon.'

The 850-capacity rooftop venue will host a closing party on 20 January with a line-up of special guest DJs.

It is the latest hospitality venue to announce its closure this week, with Kindle in Cardiff, Green's in Didsbury and the Pig and Whistle in Beverley among those closing their doors due to financial difficulties.

Incipio Group was founded in 2015 and in 2022 secured new investment for a 'healthy pipeline' of additional sites.
