THE ‘CROWN JEWELS OF BOWLING’, KING PINS, OPENS ITS DOORS IN MANCHESTER’S ARNDALE

King Pins, the state of the art-bowling and gaming experience, have officially opened their doors to a new flagship site in Manchester’s Arndale. The brand, who opened their first site in Trafford Palazzo last July, have taken over the former Sports Direct venue on the ground floor.

King Pins: Manchester Arndale, boasts a variety of activities for all ages, including 12 lanes of its signature state-of-the-art ten-pin and 8 lanes of duck-pin bowling, 2 karaoke party rooms, arcade games, American pool, shuffleboard, batting cages and ice-free curling, as well as King Pins debuts for mini golf, tech darts and Wild West Shooting.

Once again, ‘the crown jewels of bowling’ have teamed up with a series of independent food vendors to level up their F&B offering. Guests can find Manchester favourites, PLY, serving up their popular ‘straight from the pizza oven’ style pizza alongside Wings of Power with their famous fried or roasted chicken and cauliflower wings, burgers, tenders, and more. Royal Treats are also serving their signature desserts such as soft serve ice cream, donuts, brownies and Tango Ice Blasts.

Not only this, but the venue has added new additions to their premium full-service bar such as frozen cocktails, and draught beers including San Miguel, Brooklyn Pilsner, and Seven Bro7hers, alongside a variety of new cocktails from their Kingstar Martini to Spiced Mango Margarita and Lemon and Bergamot fizz. Alcohol-free serves include a selection of mocktails and coolers, 0.5% Lucy Saint beer on draught, and bottled Corona Cero and 0% Kopparberg Strawberry & Lime cider.

The new site also offers a range of packages for group bookings. When it comes to birthday parties for kids, parents can choose between duck pin bowling which starts from £15 per child and is perfect for little children, and ten pin bowling, starting from £17 per child. Parties include a game of choice as well as food and drink for each child. When it comes to large group and corporate parties, their events team will create a unique package based on budget, size, and needs.

James Travis, Brand Manager at King Pins, said, “It feels so good to finally be able to open the door to our second Manchester home in the famous Arndale shopping centre. We had a brilliant time celebrating with over 400 of the city's top media, influencers, corporates, and our new Arndale neighbours at last Thursday’s launch event and can safely say we opened the venue with a bang.

Guests can expect our signature ten-pin and duck-pin bowling alongside a range of King Pins debuts such as tech darts and mini-golf. Our friends at PLY and Wings of Power have joined us once again to serve up some delicious grub to keep you powered up in between games. See you on the bowling lanes!”
