Starboard Hotels has acquired the Best Western Carlton Hotel located on Blackpool's North Shore with plans to refurbish the 58-bedroom hotel.
The company, which is a franchisee of the InterContinental Hotel Group, has also just completed the acquisition of its first Scottish hotel, the 71-bedroom Holiday Inn Express Greenock near Glasgow.
Set up in 2006, Starboard Hotels has quickly established a proven track record in operating hotels, and five-star hostels to the highest level.
