New GM for Courtyard Edinburgh

A brand new General Manager is now leading the team at the capital’s Courtyard Edinburgh hotel.

Grant McKenzie will head up the 55-strong team at the city centre hotel, which is operated by the UK’s leading independent hotel management company, RBH.

The experienced hotelier, who has spent more than 15 years in the industry, will oversee operations at the 240-bed hotel, which also boasts a fitness centre as well as The Lantern Room restaurant.

McKenzie has looked after properties under some of the UK’s most reputable brands, including Malmaison and QHotels – and most recently worked as Regional Managing Director for Macdonald Hotels & Resorts in Scotland.

McKenzie said, “I’m pleased to have joined the team at Courtyard Edinburgh. I’m relishing the opportunity to work in the heart of the capital – there’s a great buzz around the hotel.

“There’s a very experienced and driven team in place at the hotel, and I’m looking forward to working alongside them to improve the already high standards of service offered to our guests. My focus will also be on creating a first-class environment where members of the team can flourish and reach their full potential.”
