Michelin-starred restaurant Brat set to launch food-to-go & delivery

From Sunday 22 March, Brat, the Michelin-starred restaurant from Tomos Parry, will open the Brat Farm, Grill and Wine Shop, supporting the restaurant’s staff and producers through the current crisis.

Parry and the team will serve a daily-changing line-up of dishes to go, as well as stocking the restaurant with produce from their key suppliers for guests to purchase and cook at home.

Visitors to Brat’s high-ceilinged dining room will be greeted by a market stall-style counter laid with signature dishes from Tomos and the team. For those in need of a feast, there will be grilled whole brown crabs, fresh fish, and smoked pink fir potatoes for dinner at home.

The Brat team will also be delivering these dishes direct to doorsteps, allowing the restaurant to continue paying its chefs and team.

On the delicatessen side, Brat’s kitchen team will be baking breads and their signature burnt cheesecakes, as well as a changing selection of dishes sides cooked over fire such as grilled asparagus salad. House made sausages, grilled breads with Anchovy, cured hams and cheeses can be sliced to order.

The counter will also be piled high with a selection of high quality ingredients that guests can drop in and purchase at retail prices to cook at home.

From Warrens butchers in Cornwall, there might be rare breed mutton chops and beef rib, while sustainably-caught native oysters, langoustines and lobster come from Devon.

Flourish growers in Cambridge will supply crate after crate of organic, seasonal vegetables, packed with everything from bunches of fresh herbs to first of the season English asparagus.

Brat’s sommelier, Martina will handpick a selection of bottles from the Brat list to take away and pour at home, there will also be boxes of cellar gem wines available.

Parry said, “The current situation is hugely challenging for the entire hospitality industry, and we’re looking for a way to support our suppliers and staff.

'We really value the incredible produce we get from the like of Flourish and Warrens, and we want as many people as possible to have access to restaurant quality ingredients during these difficult times.

'The Farm, Grill and Wine Shop will allow us to support as many people as we possibly can.”
