EasyHotel opens first Welsh hotel


EasyHotel, the international value hotel chain, has just officially opened its first ever Welsh hotel in central Cardiff. To celebrate, guests will be able to book rooms from just £24.99 per night for staycations in the coming months, as lockdown restrictions ease.

The 116-bed hotel will feature easyHotel’s signature stylish, comfortable rooms. Like all easyHotels, it is in a fantastic central location so guests are a stone’s throw from the city’s main attractions. The hotel is also just a five-minute walk from Cardiff Queen railway station, ideal for visitors to Wales’s wonderful capital.

With over 21 million visitors a year, Cardiff attracts people from all over the world whether it’s on business or pleasure.

easyHotel guests looking for a culture trip as lockdown restrictions lift are in for a treat with the city’s stunning medieval Cardiff Castle just a 15-minute stroll from the hotel, while those looking to experience Wales’s famous coastal scenery can enjoy picturesque views from the beautiful Cardiff Bay, where guests are spoiled for choice on activities like boat trips and cultural attractions such as Techniquest, the UK’s longest established science centre.

Not forgetting Wales’s beloved sport, rugby fans can enjoy a match at the Principality Stadium which is just a 20-minute walk from the easyHotel.

The new hotel has created 10 new jobs in the area and marks the latest hotel development in the easyHotel group’s ambitious expansion plan. It takes the total number of easyHotels to 41 across the UK and Europe.
