Morrisons has continued to slash food prices as it looks to support customers with the rising cost of living.
From 19th June, shoppers can enjoy savings of up to 25% on 47 essential fresh food items and popular summer favorites. These significant price reductions will remain in effect until August and encompass a wide range of products, including mince, tomatoes, butter, cereal, and pitta breads.
This sixth round of price cuts is part of Morrisons' ongoing commitment to supporting its customers. To further demonstrate this commitment, the supermarket chain is investing an additional £26 million in initiatives aimed at providing assistance to shoppers.
Morrisons chief customer and marketing officer Rachel Eyre said: “Providing great quality products at affordable prices for our customers is a key priority at Morrisons.
“Our steady flow of deep and broad price cutting programmes, together with our new More Card loyalty scheme, are helping customers save money on their weekly shop.
“Today’s price cuts include picnic items to help our customers make the most of the warm weather and we’ve not forgotten the fridge and cupboard essentials either.”
Last month, Morrisons revealed its first wave of deflation dividends as it looked to pass on easing commodity prices onto the customer.
