Hilton UK & Ireland has announced the appointment of Teri Dunne as its new director of development.
She joins Hilton from Best Western Hotels & Resorts, bringing 20+ years of experience, including six years as director of business development.
Prior to joining Best Western, Dunne held positions at Shiva Hotels Group, Danubius Hotel Regents Park, and London Premier Hotels.
She will work with Paul Blackmore and Nick Smart, Hilton’s vice presidents of development for the UK & Ireland and UK, Ireland & Nordics, respectively.

The group has recently strengthened its presence in Northern Ireland with the signings of Tempo by Hilton in Belfast city centre, DoubleTree by Hilton Derry-Londonderry, and DoubleTree by Hilton Belfast City Ten Square.
Hilton’s recent openings have included the Marcus Hotel Portrush under the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, alongside Spark by Hilton Luton.
Across the UK and Ireland, Hilton’s portfolio includes over 200 operating and pipeline hotels, representing 15 of its 24 world-class brands.
Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch is due to open in 2026 under the leadership of general manager Guillaume Marly.
