David Taylor has been appointed chief executive of Kew Green Hotels, succeeding interim CEO James Kim.
Since 13 October, Taylor has been overseeing the international hotel management company’s portfolio of more than 50 UK properties, which includes brands such as Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, Voco, and Courtyard by Marriott.
He said: “It is a privilege to join Kew Green Hotels at such an exciting time. The group has an outstanding reputation for excellence in hospitality and a forward-thinking approach to growth.
“I look forward to working closely with the team, our partners and stakeholders to unlock new opportunities, drive sustainable performance and deliver exceptional experiences for our guests.”
Founded in 2001, Kew Green Hotels was acquired in 2015 by HK CTS Hotels Co, a wholly owned subsidiary of China National Travel Service Group Corporation, in a £400m deal.
The company’s hotel management portfolio extends across the UK, Hong Kong, Morocco, and Thailand.
