Onima to bring Mykonos spirit to London next month

A hybrid of bar, restaurant, private members’ club and rooftop terrace, Onima is set to bring the spirit of Mykonos to London on 1 November.

Founder Alexandros Andrianopoulos has managed legendary venues such as Nammos and Interni, helping to create a vibe that saw Mykonos become one of the world’s most sought-after destinations. He then built success internationally with NYC’s Bathtub Gin and Dubai's Bagatelle.

The five-storey Mayfair townhouse was once the headquarters of Cartier’s watchmaking empire. It offers a ground floor restaurant, which features an imposing bar and comfortable lounge.

The menu delivers dishes that bring together Mediterranean and Asian flavours. Signatures include Beef tartare with orange ponzu sauce, heritage tomatoes & celery; King crab salad with seaweed & caviar dressed with yuzu, spring onion & truffle, and Pineapple carpaccio with cardamom, star anise & coconut panna cotta.

Onima’s cocktail collection serves drinks such as Purple Rain, a blend of mezcal & grapefruit, cardamom, prickly pear, aquafaba & soda.

As darkness falls, the atmosphere takes on a more hedonistic vibe with the help of some of the world’s top DJs.

Over the next few months this unique social hub will also house a private members’ club - with a range of complimentary privileges granted to its most loyal clientele - and a stunning glass-enclosed rooftop terrace open.
