Craft Beer Rising founders to launch new beer festival

27/Feb/2020 to 29/Feb/2020

BrewLDN is the new Beer Festival from the founders of Craft Beer Rising, which is launching in February 2020.

The founders of Craft Beer Rising festival have announced the dates for new beer event BrewLDN taking place at The Old Truman Brewery from 27-29 February; the only beer festival at the venue for 2020. Building on the huge success of seven years of Craft Beer Rising, BrewLDN will drive innovation and create an unrivalled experience for the UK brewing trade and consumer markets.

The event will continue Daniel Rowntree and Chris Bayliss’ original ethos; an independent beer festival for trade and consumers alike showcasing the world’s best brewers, quality street food and a fantastic music programme. The 3 day event will incorporate 2 trade sessions and 4 consumer sessions, each hosting up to 200 exhibitor stands. Exhibitors include independent breweries, cider producers, spirits, snack stands and street food traders.

Commencing with a flagship event in February 2020, a number of innovations will drive the industry forward and the festival will focus on delivering a trade show that prioritises the needs of exhibitors and provides an infrastructure which enables retailers and operators to provide a great range of beers for their customers.

BrewLDN will allow consumers to interact with the brands they already love and discover new ones for the first time. Its support of independents, ethical direction, promotion of diversity in brewing, prestigious location, well-informed food and drink selection and general fun ethos are indicators that BrewLDN will be a leading event in the UK beer calendar for years to come.

Chris Bayliss of BrewLDN said, “Craft Beer Rising was an incredible journey and something the team are all very proud of. We are keen to take all of those learnings to deliver the ultimate trade and consumer show in the UK.

'We’ll take this opportunity to start something new, with independent ownership and a renewed mission based on how the industry has evolved over the past few years.

'Innovation in brewing and discovering new tastes and trends are central to our ethos as is championing diversity and sustainability within the industry. Annually we expect to welcome 8,000 consumers and 4,000 trade guests across the 3 day event.”
