Caravan to unveil new location in Manchester this summer

Caravan's newest establishment, situated in Manchester's burgeoning creative hub, St John's, will boast 200 covers and showcase two all-day dining areas, two outdoor terraces, a bar, a private dining room equipped with a sound system and turntable, and a takeout coffee bar.

Drawing inspiration from New Zealand's scenic beauty, including its natural landscapes, wool sheds, and hiking trail huts, the venue will incorporate recycled materials and organic finishes to reflect this aesthetic.

'We are so excited to be taking Caravan on the road to Manchester, but more importantly, we are really looking forward to spending more time in this incredible city,' said Caravan's CEO and co-founder, Laura Harper-Hinton.

'We hope to attract a real cross-section of the city to our beautiful new restaurant & roastery.'

Caravan will additionally launch its second roastery in the city, offering coffee beans and specialised training to coffee shops and restaurants across northern England.

Mike Ingall CEO, and founder of property and investment company Allied London, added: 'Bringing Caravan to our unique mix at St John's was an obvious move for us and Caravan will be an operation I am sure Manchester will love – a place where people can come in the morning and stay all day and night.'

In 2010, Harper Hinton, Chris Ammermann, and Miles Kirby co-founded Caravan, opening its first location in London's Exmouth Market. Five years into the venture, the team secured minority stake private equity backing, facilitating the launch of Caravan's third site in Bankside. Last year, the team further expanded their presence by introducing a flagship site in Covent Garden.
