Italian restaurant chain Bella Italia is set to open three new restaurants before Christmas taking its estate to 90 restaurants.
Two of the five new sites have already opened in Burton-upon-Trent and Gillingham, with the remaining launching in Mansfield, Walsall and Gloucester. They represent a £4m investment from the company which has signed a 15-year lease on all sites.
Phil Derbyshire, group property director at Bella owner Casual Dining Group, said: “These five new openings in the run-up to Christmas represent a strong end to a very good year for Bella.
“We’ve dramatically accelerated the number of openings in 2015 and have a strong pipeline of sites secured for 2016/17 across our three growth brands Bella Italia, Las Iguanas and Café Rouge.
“With such a wide repertoire of brands and broad location profiles, we are seeing an increasing number of multi-brand opportunities in several of the large UK leisure schemes.”
