Hotel collection, The Set has announced the appointment of Thomas Kochs, the former general manager of Claridge’s, as managing director of the Cafe Royal, London.
Kochs has been at Claridge’s, part of the Maybourne Hotel Group, for the last five years, where we was credited with continuing to build the hotel’s heritage and bringing chef Simon Rogan to the hotel where he started 'Fera at Claridge’s’.
Thomas Kochs said, “I am excited to be joining the team at Cafe Royal, one of the most beautiful buildings in London with fascinating heritage and history to work with.
'Cafe Royal is already ‘London’s Living Room’, a place for minds to come together and creativity to flourish, where guests can connect to and enjoy the hotel’s offering.
