Midsummer Terrace at Mondrian London to launch in May

Sea Containers restaurant at Mondrian London has announced the launch of its Midsummer Terrace, in collaboration with Champagne Laurent-Perrier, available for the public to experience from the first May bank holiday weekend.

Popping-up for the duration of the summer, the floral terrace will be wrapped around the hotel’s Thames-side restaurant Sea Containers, boasting views across the river and St Pauls. Alongside the relaxed drinking and dining area, the terrace will also host a separate Laurent-Perrier Champagne Bar, which will be available for private hire as well as walk-ins.

Opening on 2 May, this year’s terrace will celebrate 50 years of Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé, with a menu themed around the iconic rosé Champagne.

The terrace will offer a bespoke à la carte menu, featuring a variety of fresh seafood dishes such as ‘Strawberry and Champagne Cured Seabass’ and ‘Hand Dived Scallops with Chickpea Polenta, Heirloom Tomato and Sourdough and Lemon Dressing’, alongside seasonal summer vegetables such as ‘Globe Courgette stuffed with Ricotta, Pink Pepper and Baked Lemon Puree’.

The Midsummer Terrace à la carte will also offer a Laurent-Perrier Champagne flight, consisting of three flutes; Laurent-Perrier Brut, Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé and Laurent-Perrier Vintage.

Complementing the Champagne themed menu, the terrace will be adorned with soft pink wildflowers in Laurent-Perrier flower boxes and dusky pink furnishings. As evening
