LW Theatres has just announced that Caprice Holdings will open a one-of-a-kind restaurant within the newly revived Theatre Royal Drury Lane when it reopens in autumn 2020.
Caprice Holdings encompasses many of London’s most exciting and innovative restaurants, including Sexy Fish, Scott’s and Le Caprice. It will operate the new restaurant, which is billed as the food and beverage cornerstone of the new destination, in an adjoining building on Catherine Street, recently acquired to become a part of the new Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
LW Theatres is in the middle of a £60m restoration project of Theatre Royal Drury Lane. The ambitious scheme not only encompasses the complete refurbishment of the magnificent 1812 Greek Revival ‘front of house’ designed by Benjamin Wyatt, but also the reconstruction of the stage facilities and dressing rooms, the creation of new bars and restaurant, plus the refashioning of the auditorium to play in both the traditional proscenium arch and in the round.

The revived Theatre Royal Drury Lane will be open to the public all day and will features bars, a restaurant, afternoon tea and more.
