Following popular demand, Honest Burgers have relaunched their 'Honest at Home' burger kits, now available for delivery nationwide.
The kits were first available in a limited number during lockdown as part of Honest Burgers’ extensive charity and fundraising work, when 1,000 burgers were sold with all funds split equally between charities that the group felt were in particular need through the peak of the pandemic crisis: Landworkers Alliance, Hospitality Action and Trussell Trust.
This initiative that raised nearly £9k, alongside over 8,000 meals that Honest made and then donated to local food banks and hospitals.
The kit includes:
- 4x chopped British chuck steak and rib cap patties from the Honest Butchery
- 4x British Cheddar slices
- 4x dry cured smoked bacon rashers
- 4x Burger buns from Honest’s friends at The Bread Factory (gluten free also available)
- Honest Kitchen red onion relish
- Honest Kitchen pickles
- An Honest tote bag
Customers just need to supply their own lettuce (it doesn't travel well) and Honest has also included a portion of their addictive rosemary salt to season homemade chips.
Honest Burgers are the only burger company in the UK with their own butchery, so these are the only burger kits available where quality and consistency is as close as possible to an eat-in restaurant experience.
Co-founder Tom Barton said, “We’re excited to announce the proper launch of our Honest at Home kits. It’s been a complete labour of love but we’re really happy with how they’ve turned out. Online retail for restaurants was born through lockdown and the support we’ve seen from our customers has been mind-blowing. Thanks again to all those who’ve helped our industry get through these tough few months.”
The £30 kits are available from the Honest website, and delivered nationally by DPD (delivery cost included). Kits are delivered two days after ordering, and should be consumed the day they arrive.
