An exciting addition to London’s food scene, Como Garden is gearing up to open its doors on early December. From the team behind Zuaya London, Como Garden, which is located next door to its older sibling, celebrates dishes from across all of Italy’s regions, with the menu designed to be shared.
Following months of development, Como Garden’s menu champions the best and freshest produce, sourced directly from Italy. The star of the show is undoubtedly the handmade pasta – as fresh as if you were eating it in some of the most famous regions in Italy. Served as a tapas/sharing concept, the menu features a myriad of meat, fish and veggie options with a strong focus on seasonal flavours.
The thoughtfully curated Italian wine list comprises wine from a variety of Italian vineyards. Aside from wine, guests can also peruse the cocktail menu featuring classic concoctions and house-made libations served by a team of master mixologists.
The unique restaurant is also home to a spacious bar area – ideal for a pre or post-dinner drink. With chic high seating and ample tables, guests can sip on Italian classics like a Negroni, Aperol Spritz and Bellini.
Como Garden is the brainchild of identical Spanish twins Alberto and Arian Zandi. This isn’t the brothers’ first foray into opening a restaurant in London, as they’re behind Zuaya, a Kensington hotspot serving fusion cuisine from Latin American and Mediterranean influence. Having opened in 2018, Zuaya has successfully cemented itself as the go-to place in West London.
Seeking a new challenge, the brothers set their sights on opening an Italian restaurant having fallen in love with Lake Como from an early age. Enduring challenging obstacles due to the coronavirus pandemic and UK-wide lockdown, the duo are excited to finally open Como Garden next month.
