Honest Burgers to launch Windsor outlet this spring

Honest Burgers, the Great British burger group from Tom Barton and Philip Eeles, has confirmed that it will open in Windsor this spring.

Situated on Thames Street in the town centre, Honest Burgers Windsor is the latest bricks and mortar opening for the group, which also holds restaurants in Cardiff, Cambridge, Brighton, Bristol, Reading, Manchester and Liverpool.

Honest Burgers was co-founded by friends Barton and Eeles in Brighton in 2009, who started out cooking great British burgers in a field at a local food festival. The following year they opened a tiny restaurant in Brixton Market, making everything from scratch and cycling eight miles every day to pick up the best beef available.

Honest Burgers launched their own south London butchery in 2017, which enabled them to make their own patties rather than buying them in from a butcher.

They are the only burger company in the UK to do this, ensuring every single patty is made using the perfect proportion of high-quality chuck and rib cap beef from native breed Gloucestershire cows. And nothing else. Next door to the butchery is the Honest Kitchen, where sauces, relishes, pickles, drinks and chips are made from scratch.

Guests at Honest Burgers Windsor can expect a menu of Honest's signature burgers, from the classic Tribute to the vegan Plant, all served with Honest's homemade rosemary salted chips as standard.

There will also be a local burger exclusive to the Windsor restaurant, as well as a drinks menu featuring Honest's house Burger Beer and G&Ts made with Honest's own gin.
