On 1 April, award-winning Japanese and Latin fusion concept Sugoi JPN and its Japanese-inspired street food brand, Japanified, will be available for delivery (via Deliveroo) or takeaway from the company's new Soho (Wardour Street) kitchen.
Sugoi JPN prides itself on championing NoriTacos (pictured); a crispy seaweed tempura shell filled with Japanese-Latin fusion fillings and sushi rice. Favourites include our Señor Crab and Japanese Fried Chicken Karaage. The street food favourite was awarded best takeaway chef in Britain 2019.
Japanified’s menu is inspired by Osaka (AKA Japan’s Kitchen) and features a variety of sliders including Wagyu with chimichurri, sides including Takoyaki (fried octopus), and the star of the show; Blue Corn Taco FIY (fill it yourself) Kits.
Both brands are part of Under One Kitchen, a project set up by entrepreneur Felipe Preece during the pandemic to help support hospitality brands.
The project allows brands to work alongside each other but as distinct businesses under one roof to help cut down on costs, allowing them to continue operating as a delivery and takeaway service during the crisis.
In just one year, Under One Kitchen is now working with 23 operations across 7 kitchens in London with more to come.
