Caprice Holdings to open Bacchanalia later this year

Bacchanalia, the brand-new restaurant concept from Caprice Holdings, will open at One Mount Street later this year, bringing an unforgettable dining destination to London.

Offering an immersive experience, Bacchanalia will be a celebration of exceptional Greek and Italian cuisine, exquisite wines, and exuberant revelry.

Richard Caring’s restaurant will transport diners into another world of heightened senses and imaginings. It will feature a breathtaking dining room like no other. A grand and glorious space filled with 2,000-year-old antiques, spectacular giant sculptures by world-leading artist Damien Hirst, and an array of both period and modern Greek and Roman art.

Diners will enjoy an eclectic Mediterranean menu, featuring a fusion of traditional Greek and Italian cuisine - whilst indulging in cult Italian wines and cocktails in the restaurant, private dining room, outdoor terrace, and exclusive members-only club, Apollo’s Muse. Guests will also experience a weekly programme of international DJs and live performances.

The Greek and Italian menu has been curated by Culinary Consultant Athinagoras Kostakos, the Culinary Director of Scorpios Mykonos and Noema Mykonos. He will be joined by Enis Spacho and Theo Zarikakis as Executive Chefs, with their former experience including Meraki, Mazi and Temper.

The bar team will be led by new Group Wine Director, Terry Kandylis, formerly Head Sommelier at 67 Pall Mall, supported by Tasos Karakasis as Head Sommelier, coming from Marcus Belgravia and Tiago Mira as Bar Manager, the former Bar Manager at The Goring and Annabel’s.

Richard Clark, Managing Director of Caprice Holdings, said, “Bacchanalia will offer a completely unique dining experience inspired by the opulent Bacchanalian feasts of the ancient world.

'We have an incredible global team at the helm of the restaurant – from the kitchen, to the bar and the restaurant floor who will bring new innovative dishes and experiences to diners.”
