“Rachel Bulford, Chief Commercial Officer, Splendid Hospitality Group”
Splendid Hospitality Group has appointed Rachel Bulford as its new Chief Commercial Officer, bringing her onto the leadership team and Board of Directors. Bulford previously served as the Director of Retail at Gatwick Airport, where she was responsible for developing retail strategies and improving the passenger experience.
In her new position at Splendid Hospitality Group, Rachel will utilise her extensive expertise to optimise commercial strategies, drive growth, and improve the overall experience for customers and staff across the company’s hotels, quick-service restaurants, and care homes.
Rachel has held senior positions at Homebase, Burberry, and OC&C, and she began her career at Marks and Spencer. She earned an MA from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from Bayes Business School. Additionally, Rachel served as the Chairperson of the UK Travel Retail Forum from 2021 to 2023.
