Radisson Hotel Group achieved significant growth in the first half of 2024, driven by conversion opportunities, with over 130 new signings and openings worldwide.
n the UK and Ireland, Radisson Hotel Group signed 10 new deals, securing around 13,000 rooms over the past year, and has opened five new properties in the UK so far in 2024. The group has also experienced success in the sports and events hospitality segment, with notable signings at Twickenham Stadium, the Home of England Rugby, and Edgbaston Stadium, one of the UK's premier cricket grounds
Radisson Individuals, the Group's soft affiliation brand, has grown rapidly since its launch just four years ago, now boasting 90 properties either operating or in the pipeline worldwide. The brand embraces each hotel's unique culture and story while benefiting from Radisson Hotel Group's global reach and reservation systems. Hotels can join Radisson Individuals on a short-term contract without needing an initial property improvement plan, making it a leading choice for conversions. Other Radisson brands, including Radisson Blu, Radisson RED, Radisson, and Prize by Radisson, also offer strong conversion opportunities.
Adela Cristea, Vice President, Head of Business Development UK, Ireland and the Nordics said: “Conversions have kept us busy over the past few years, and continue to do so. We support our owners by optimising the spaces, adapting our brands to different projects and their localities and maximising the return for the investors.”.
