Chick’n’Sours secures investment to grow its delivery operation

Fried chicken and cocktail concept Chick’n’Sours has received support from Deliveroo and Sessions to expand its delivery service into new locations.

The delivery and franchising platforms have partnered to identify up-and-coming brands and help them scale and grow.

They aim to assist operators in identifying untapped market opportunities and launching new delivery-only sites.

Founded a decade ago, Chick’n’Sours operates both dine-in and delivery services from its two London sites in Haggerston and Seven Dials.

Chick’n’Sours will grow its delivery operations through Sessions’ kitchen network at key London sites, with Deliveroo serving as its exclusive delivery partner.

David Wolanski, Chick’n’Sours founder, said: “Our mission is simple: to bring joy to our guests through exceptional fried chicken, whether they’re dining in our restaurants, attending a festival or event, or enjoying a meal at home.

“By partnering with Sessions, we’re able to share the Chick’n’Sours experience beyond the walls of our restaurants, reaching new communities in areas where we currently don’t have a presence.

“We’re starting slow with a trial in select London locations, focusing on areas where our customers have expressed the most demand. We’ll use this as an opportunity to test and grow, seeing where this partnership can take us.”

Jessica Markowski, director for London and Deliveroo Editions, added: “Our fundamental aim is to support restaurants to grow and thrive so we are excited to test a new way of working with Sessions to support exciting exclusive brands to test new locations and scale.”

Starting in April, Chick’n’Sours will be available for delivery in Finchley, Fulham, and Kilburn.
