Boston Tea Party, the Bristol based chain of coffee shops, has secured its 14th venue, and its first in Cheltenham.
The company will lease a 3,150sq ft venue at 45-49 Clarence Street which is located next to Cheltenham’s new museum and art gallery.
James Woodward of property consultancy Sanderson Weatherall (http://www.sandersonweatherall.co.uk) acted for Boston Tea Party, while retail advice specialist Downing Bentley acted for the vendor. Woodward said: 'This acquisition is particularly notable as Cheltenham has been a key requirement for so long, but without the right building ever coming up.'
Boston Tea Party opened its first coffee shop in 1996 and remains family owned. It runs 6 outlets in Bristol and 1 each in Barnstaple, Bath, Birmingham, Exeter, Honiton, Ringwood, Salisbury and Worcester.
