Denbighshire Council is creating 34 jobs at its £4.4m Nova Centre retail and leisure facility due to open in Prestatyn in November.
The revamped site will boast a 60-station fitness suite, cafe, restaurant, retail units, multi-purpose studios and three-storey soft play structure.
The 25 metre swimming pool and small splash pool have been retained.
Councillor Huw Jones, cabinet member with responsibility for leisure, said, “The Nova is one of a number of a number of leisure investments across the county, with developments at Denbigh and Ruthin Leisure Centres nearing completion.
'This reflects the council’s commitment to investing in leisure facilities for the health and well-being of residents, even during challenging times financially.”
