American-style barbecue smokehouse chain, Grillstock has been revealed as the fifth restaurant to join Exeter's new Queen St dining quarter.
The Bristol-based company signed contracts with Aviva Investors, owners of the Guildhall Shopping Centre, last week.
The new restaurant will face the newly remodelled Market Square, which is set to become one of the focal points of the £12m redevelopment.
Grillstock began as an open air festival in Bristol in 2010, promising 'meat, music and mayhem'. It was so popular the founders soon opened their first year-round smokehouse.
The firm currently operates six restaurants in Bath, Walthamstow, Leicester, Liverpool and two in Bristol, and holds annual open air live events in Bristol, Manchester and London.
