Coca-Cola Enterprises is forming a joint venture with ECO Plastics to make Europe's largest plastic bottle recycling plant in North Lincolnshire, with the creation of up to 30 jobs.
The £15m facility will more than double the UK's ability to re-use drinks bottles, according to the government. It will allow the UK to process 75,000 tonnes of polyethylene terephthalate per year, up from 35,000, said CCE.
Coca-Cola Enterprise is the local bottler responsible for the manufacturing, distributing, sales and trade making of the brands of Coca-Cola Great Britain.
