JJ Food Service welcomes first qualified in-house nutritionist

National wholesaler JJ Food Service has announced its first qualified in-house nutritionist, Nina Grosicka, following an investment into training.

Grosicka, who will be responsible for managing school contracts, said, 'Many of our schools are working towards gaining the ‘Food For Life’ accreditation, which promotes food quality, health and sustainability. With this new qualification, we can support them in building nutritionally-balanced, quality menus.”

Last year, JJ announced that it had expanded its fresh fruit, vegetables and meat ranges, including working with British suppliers. Further healthy eating initiatives will be announced in February.

JJ Food Service supplies coffee shops, cafes, quick service restaurants, hotels, schools, universities and local authorities.
