Draft House moves beyond London with 10th pub opening in October

Draft House is to open its first pub outside London in Milton Keynes this October, taking its total chain to ten.

The new Draft House will open on the site formerly occupied by a JD Wetherspoon pub.

The firm's founder Charlie McVeigh had noted that Milton Keynes is home to 500 corporate headquarters, and the longest shopping centre in the country, but was lacking a craft beer pub.

The refurbished venue will feature copper tanks filled with unpasteurised Pilsner Urquell lager.

The menu will serve up a large selection of burgers and hot dogs, char-pit dishes - ribs and jerk chicken, as well as sharing platters of ribs and wings, tacos, and nachos.
