The Deltic Group, the late night bars and clubs operator, has announced plans to invest £850,000 in opening its third Bar & Beyond venue on Sheffield’s famous West Street.
Shoreditch-inspired Bar & Beyond will feature walls of graffiti art, skull imagery and modern sculptures. With a stripped back feel, the concept offers two distinct experiences, the bar where street food and drinks are served from early evening, and ‘Beyond’, a high quality club experience where clubbers can enjoy a state of the art sound system and some of the best DJs and live acts.
Bar & Beyond Sheffield is set to open on Friday, 16 September and will be open from 5pm seven days a week. In the early evening, the venue will serve up its famous range of burgers, dogs and sharing platters.
Its strong food offer will be paired with a wide range of drinks, from craft ales to freshly prepared cocktails. Later on in the evening, the bar transforms into a club providing high energy entertainment until the early hours.
General manager David Burgess, who is from Sheffield, said: “I’m really excited to be bringing Bar & Beyond to my home town. It’s a unique concept that gives customers the choice between a fun evening with food and a wide choice of drinks, or to stay out and party the night away. There’s nothing like it in Sheffield and I’m confident it will be a massive hit.”
The new site joins Chelmsford and Stevenage and is the first Bar & Beyond site acquisition, showing just how successful the concept has become since it was launched by Deltic a year ago.
