Innis & Gunn plans Beer Kitchen expansion

Edinburgh-based brewery and bar operator, Innis & Gunn is currently considering funding options to open more of its Beer Kitchen bars around the UK and in international cities, according to The Times.

Dougal Sharp, founder, said that the existing sites, in Edinburgh and Dundee, have had a strong start and given the company a taste to expand further.

Sharp confirmed that Aberdeen and Glasgow were on the radar as well as other sites in England and abroad.

The family-owned firm, which was founded in 2003, has become the most popular British bottled beer sold in Canada, and the second most popular in Sweden.
