Italian restaurant-bar chain, Gusto is set to launch a new £1m 4,000 sq ft venue in Birmingham on 23 September, the first site in the city for the brand.
The new 130-cover restaurant, which will create 60 jobs, is situated on the ground floor of iconic Grand Hotel development in the Cathedral Quarter of the city.
The refurbishment will see the Grade II-listed building transformed, complete with an outside terrace to seat 40 people.
The opening is part of an ambitious expansion that will see the Palatine Private Equity-backed group expand from 14 to 26 restaurants within the next four to five years.
