Starbucks opens in £70m Beverley shopping centre

Starbucks has opened its first outlet today in Beverley, East Yorkshire, opposite rival chain Costa.

The global coffee house company has launched in the town's £70m Flemingate shopping centre and joins not only Costa but Patisserie Valerie, Greggs, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Riva Lounge, and Subway.

The Beverley branch is being operated by Starbucks' franchise partner, Soul Coffee House.

As well as shoppers, Starbucks is aiming to attract students and staff from East Riding College's £14m new campus at Flemingate.

The new Starbucks opens from 7am to 7.30pm Mondays to Saturdays and from 8am to 6pm on Sundays.
