Wilson Vale in FS growth report top 20 for fourth consecutive year

Wilson Vale has been listed on the Top 20 listing of the UK’s most dynamic and best performing companies within the UK foodservice sector for the fourth consecutive year.

The Ashby-based catering company is one of only three other companies to remain on the list since it was introduced in 2013.

Prepared by AlixPartners and EP Business in Hospitality, the Foodservice Growth Report 2016 shows that Wilson Vale has achieved 9.1% growth in turnover in 2015 over the previous year. Looking at the four-year picture since the report was introduced, Wilson Vale’s annual turnover has grown steadily by 27%.

With a projected annual turnover of £23m for 2016 and 90 high profile clients in its portfolio, Wilson Vale is quietly making its mark on what is an extremely competitive sector by retaining its core values and keeping growth steady and controlled.

Andrew Wilson, co-founder of Wilson Vale, (pictured with co-founder Carolyne Vale) said, ““Clearly, it is a great achievement to appear in this list every year since its inception, and perhaps even more rewarding that our growth has been achieved organically. I think it is a strong reflection of the high value proposition we offer to our clients, the commitment of our teams and our unique positioning in our market.

“Quality is everything, from the calibre of our 700 staff and 250 suppliers to our emphasis on craft skills and fresh ingredients. We have never deviated from our founding values and I think this is why we continue to attract clients who appreciate our way of doing business.”
