Leon to launch first north west site at intu Trafford Centre

Naturally fast food chain, Leon has chosen intu Trafford Centre to launch its first restaurant in the north west of England as it works with owner intu to expand across the UK.

Leon’s 1,940 sq ft restaurant on intu Trafford Centre’s Regent Crescent will also be one of its first outside of the south east where it has already more than 40 stores.

Colin Flinn, regional director at intu, said: “We’re introducing Leon to intu Trafford Centre’s affluent shoppers from across the north west as part our work to support its ambitious expansion strategy at intu centres across the country.

“Placing Leon’s fun, fast and fresh offering at the heart of intu Trafford Centre’s Regent Crescent further extends the centre’s catering offer into the main malls, complementing what's on offer within The Orient whilst providing our customers with something new and exciting.”

Attracting an annual footfall of over 31 million, intu Trafford Centre is one of the UK’s largest shopping and leisure destinations with a high proportion of affluent customers.

Adam Blaker, director of property at Leon said, “We’ve been overwhelmed with requests to open in Manchester so we’re delighted to make those dreams come true. At Leon we like to be there for people when and where they need us, so we’ll be there from early to late for hungry shoppers at intu Trafford Centre.”
