Nhs Don't Pay £32 For Genius Loaves Says Government

Genius Foods says it is frustrated by additional charges levied on gluten-free bread that it supplies to the NHS in Wales, although the nation's government insists that talk of £32 loaves is incorrect.

The gluten-free food manufacturer responded to media reports about the cost of their products sold to the NHS saying that they have the same retail value as the ones sold to supermarkets.

However, Genius also said that some pharmacies do choose to order through a wholesaler and they can opt for an additional administrative charge for taking and placing orders.
