DoubleTree by Hilton Forest Pines Spa & Golf Resort in Brigg, North Lincolnshire, has just opened offering easy access to historic market towns, gourmet cuisine and an award-winning 27-hole championship golf course.
The 188-room hotel, which is operated by RBH, is the latest addition to DoubleTree by Hilton, one of Hilton’s 14 market-leading brands. The hotel is the first Hilton branded site on the outskirts of Scunthorpe and joins 50 DoubleTree by Hilton hotels in the UK.
The hotel offers 188 bedrooms, including six suites, which offer a separate living area, large bathroom, second TV and bathrobes, as well as modern amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi, upscale toiletries and a laptop-sized safe.
The Espa Spa and leisure centre features an indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi and gym. The hotel also caters to children, as there is an outdoor play area and seasonal games room.
For golf lovers, there is an onsite 27-hole golf course, which was recently named the Best Golf Course in the East of England in the 2018 Today’s Golfer Travel Awards.
For groups looking to host meetings or events, DoubleTree by Hilton Forest Pines Spa & Golf Resort offers a purpose-built events centre. The centre offers more than 1,000 square metres of flexible meetings and events space, with the largest room holding up to 400 delegates or guests.
The 11 meeting and event spaces benefit from pillar-free rooms, floor-to-ceiling windows and scenic lighting, displaying the hotel’s beautiful countryside backdrop. Open plan refreshment areas are available across two floors, offering something for both weddings and corporate events alike.
Guests can dine at The Grill restaurant to experience British cuisine with a unique flair in a relaxed atmosphere with an array of dishes, including twice baked Lincolnshire Poacher Soufflé, Ragu of White Beans and Confit Leg.
Those looking to leisurely enjoy their favourite tipple or cocktail on the terrace can visit Pines Restaurant and Bar, which provides light bites, afternoon tea and al fresco dining overlooking the hotel’s golf course.
