Everards to launch artisan food & drink venture

Everards, the Leicestershire pub and brewery group, is to open up the first site in its Project Artisan initiative with local food and drink producers. The pioneering scheme aims to install local food and drink businesses – such as bakers, chocolate makers and butchers – in Everards’ pubs or in their outbuildings The project will launch this June in the Stirchley area of Bimingham.

The firm has already run Project William which led to it reopening 22 pubs in tandem with local microbreweries. Everards is now seeking other locations and links for Project Artisan. The group currently operates 172 pubs across the country.
