Central England Co-operative has opened the doors to its refurbished Food Store in Littleover, Derby, following a major investment.
The Burton Road store has been given a £289k makeover, creating another business unit at the site. Inside the store, members and customers will benefit from improved decoration and signage, a relocated kiosk, new flooring throughout and new air conditioning. The product range has been updated throughout the store to better reflect customers’ requirements.
Store Manager Colin Wright said, “Our team has been so excited. The revamp looks fantastic and already customers have been making many positive comments about how it looks. I would like to thank our members and customers for their patience during the refurbishment and I hope they enjoy the changes as much as we do.
“All of us here at Burton Road Food Store are proud to be part of such a great community in Littleover and are looking forward to welcoming customers, new and old, to come and enjoy our Food Store.”
The store has a wide range of products from everyday necessities to something a little more special. The offer includes fresh and local fruit and vegetables, an instore bakery, chilled beers and wines, fresh and frozen produce and Irresistible product ranges. The store also offers Paypoint, Lottery, free cash machine, Collect Plus, and parking.
The Burton Road, Littleover Food Store is open 7am to 9pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
