The former sales director of Bartlett Mitchell and BaxterStorey regional managing director, have come together to form a new B&I catering group, Houston & Hawkes.
Simon Houston and Dave Hawkes have formed the new company in response to the desire of customers to deal with owner-operators.
Houston explained, ' We’re at the start of a cycle. They want trust, security and longevity. Our first customer will be dealing with the two of us and there will be no lengthy decision-making process.”
Focusing on the south east of the country, the pair are targeting companies that have between 150 and 300 employees.
Houston and Hawkes are currently in discussions with potential customers.
