Drake & Morgan creates new breakfast to evening cocktail menu


As we transition back to the office after WFH for 18 months, business breakfasts, lunch meetings and cocktails with colleagues are returning.

The expert mixologists at leading bar group, Drake & Morgan (The Folly, The Happenstance, The Refinery, The Anthologist, Drake & Morgan King’s Cross) have created a new drinks menu featuring breakfast cocktails, evening serves and tempting dessert trolley tipples, designed to be enjoyed from early doors through to late night.

With more Drake & Morgan locations back open for breakfast from this month, the team will welcome guests with an innovative range of breakfast cocktails.

Inspired by one of the nation’s favourite cereals, the They’re Greeeeeaat! (pictured) comes with Bulleit bourbon, cereal-infused milk, Briottet crème, cacao & and a side of cereal whilst the Breakfast Martini features Ketel One Citroen, Briottet orange, curaçao, fresh grapefruit juice, lemon juice and marmalade. If Bloody Marys are more your thing, choose from five varieties including tequila and bourbon-based blends.

Instagrammable, expertly executed Autumn tipples, designed for cocktail connoisseurs, include a showstopping Pine Old Fashioned with Johnnie Walker Black Label, sugar syrup & atomised absinthe; a smoke-filled Magical Mist with Don Julio Reposado tequila, Briottet orange curacao, macaroon syrup, grapefruit juice & grapefruit bitters; and a Campfire with Bulleit rye, Moose alpine liqueur, maple syrup, chocolate bitters & a giant toasted marshmallow.

Dessert in a cocktail – what’s not to like? Mouth-watering puds in a glass come in the form of a Key Lime Pie, an Amaretto Espresso Martini and a Black Forest Gateau, whilst speciality sharing cocktails – generously serving four – feature the Tanqueray gin-based Plenty Fish in The Sea and the Goslings rum Pirate’s Dream.

As well as fresh cocktails, there’s a selection of brand-new seasonal dishes. Drool-worthy plates include the pheasant BLT with chilli jam & chips; a sharing Chateaubriand (500g) with a choice of Béarnaise, peppercorn or blue cheese sauce; and a decadent Marmite mac & cheese.

Tempting vegan creations come in the form of “tuNO” carpaccio with fennel, lemon & miso; vegan ”Shrimp” lollipops; and a juicy plant-based, fermented burger created by Symplicity Foods.
