Oliver Dabbous applies for second London restaurant

Having announced he was on the look out for a second London site almost a year ago, Oliver Dabbous has now announced he made an application to Camden Council in October to open a site he intends to call Barnyard.

Dabbous, who’s well known Fitzrovia restaurant Dabbous won its first Michelin star eight months after opening in 2012, said in his application that the new restaurant would be an informal venue, serving wholesome comfort food.

Kuwait born Dabbous, previously spent four years working with his mentor Raymond Blanc in the kitchens of Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons near Oxford before moving onto Hibiscus and Mugaritz in Spain. He then spent two years at the Michelin starred Texture in London which is run by fellow Le Manoir alumni Aggi Sverrisson and Xavier Rousset.
