Kentucky Fried Chicken to move to new HQ in Woking

Kentucky Fried Chicken has announced that it will move to new offices in Woking at Orion Gate. KFC will become the lead tenant and occupy a total of 31,476 sq ft within the building. As part of a 10-year lease, Kentucky Fried Chicken GB Ltd has secured the ground, third, fourth and fifth floors of the building.

The fast food giant’s UK management team is already based within the Surrey town and will soon relocate from their existing home at 32 Goldsworth Road, Woking. Situated 30 miles to the south-west of Central London, Woking is well served by commuter trains and convenient drive from the M25 and Heathrow Airport.

Paula MacKenzie, KFC Business Development Director for UK & Ireland, said, “We’re delighted to confirm plans to move our head office to a new location at Orion Gate… We have been happy to call Woking our home over the past few years and we’re looking forward to many more years of success at our new HQ.”

KFC forms part of Yum! Brands Incorporated, the world’s largest fast food restaurant company. The Kentucky-based corporation also owns the Pizza Hut and Taco Bell chains, and generates US $14 billion from a global franchise network operating in 125 countries.
