Yo! Sushi has been given the green light for plans to open a restaurant in Princes Street, Edinburgh, creating 30 jobs.
Offering views of Edinburgh Castle, the first-floor restaurant will cater for 70 diners. The outlet will also include a takeaway window opening on to the street, meaning shoppers in a hurry will be able to grab a sushi roll on the go.
City centre business leaders hope the arrival of Yo! Sushi will lead to more eateries following suit by bringing diners to the city's main thoroughfare.
Yo! Sushi operates two other restaurants in the Capital, one at Edinburgh Airport and on the fifth floor of Harvey Nichols in St Andrew Square.
