East Lindsey District Council is to consider plans from Skegness based company, Teenspirit Ltd to redevelop Panda's Palace indoor play centre on Skegness seafront into a multi-million pound pirate-themed aquarium.
The proposed plans include a 'diving experience' for visitors and hands-on activities for children including interactive touch pools.
Financial director at Teenspirit, Katrina Graham, said, “We are excited to be able to share our new project with the people of Skegness.
'We hope to give the town another destination attraction that will draw visitors to the resort.”
If planning permission is approved, the aquarium is expected to open in April 2018.
