ISS signs new five-year deal with RBS

After a successful 11 year partnership with the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), one of the world's largest facility services providers, ISS has signed a new contract with the bank for a further five years.

The new contract will challenge the traditional service delivery model, bringing in a host of new innovations and concepts to support the RBS business.

Gary Kidd, Chief Operating Officer ISS UK, said, 'For a transforming business such as RBS, the development and introduction of new technology and a methodology to complement their core business was critical, as was building on our existing knowledge and relationship.

'Having such an established relationship with RBS means that we intimately understand their business and requirements, but it was also essential we could bring a progressive and fresh approach. The combination of these factors means that ISS can deliver real value to RBS.'

John Hayes, Head of Workplace Services RBS, said, “We are pleased to have signed a new contract with ISS. We needed a competitive and agile partner who could meet the requirements of RBS and ISS has proved that they can continue to do this for us.”

A team of over 3000 ISS employees will continue to deliver Cleaning, Landscaping, Waste Management and Pest Control to the UK wide portfolio which spans from Shetland to Cornwall. The contract covers c.2100 sites across the UK which includes retail branches, datacentres, corporate offices and cash and coin sites
