Aberdeenshire Council is to consider plans from FM Group for a new £80m golf and leisure development on the Ury Estate near Stonehaven, with the creation of 200 jobs.
The plan is for the restoration and conversion of Ury Mansion House into a hotel and clubhouse, and residential homes.
It comes as an independent report concluded that the golf course and housing development will inject £55.5m into the Aberdeenshire economy over a 15-year period.
